Saturday, September 5, 2009 - Just before 1500 hours todays date the company was alerted for a Motor Vehicle Accident at Bainbridge Rd and Cokesbury Rd. A691 called enroute immediately followed shortly by R6 end E614. A691 arrived and advised 2 vehicle T-bone type accident in the intersection and upgraded to rescue with a door pop on the passenger car and requested aviation for a priority 1 unconscious patient. On arrival of E614 and R6 crews went to work pulling the preconnected tools off R6 and proceeded to pop the drivers side rear door of the passenger car. Once the door pop was complete E614 cleared the scene and handled the LZ at the southbound scale house. A 3rd transport unit was requested from Water Witch to assist for total of 4 patients. A691 handled transport to the LZ to Trooper 1 for transport to Shock Trauma while A793 and A692 transported a total of 3 patients to Christiana Hospital. R6 handled a small fuel spill and antifreeze leak then cleared after all patients were transported.
